Flood 1 (2012)
Materials: 5 gallons of poured acrylic house paint, multi-colored sprinkles, epoxy resin, plywood
Dimensions: 6' X 5' X 1"
The paint was poured into three large trays at three different depths, and left to dry completely. Different
cracking and heaving patterns emerged depending on the depth of the paint. Multi-colored cake sprinkles were
settled into the cracked and recessed areas. Transparent glossy resin was poured over them and it worked to
hold the whole painting together.
